Boo said "Momma" where I know he was talking about me for the first time today. At least I really think he did. I was getting ready and he was in his playpen fussing a little bit. He was saying, "Momma momma momma momma" wanting me to get him out. He's been saying "Dadda."
Hmm, at that age they do start making the Mmmmmaaaaaammaaaaaa sound more, but I remember reading to not confuse it with actual speech until at least 10 months...? I might be off on the age thing by a month though. Quinlon did the same thing around 8ish months and it melted me but then it proved to be a phase.
